为了解决现有的供热管道泄漏诊断延迟的问题，本文介绍了负压波法泄漏检测的原理，分析了影响定位精度的主要因素：负压波速度的时间差，和沿管道的温度差引起的负压力波速度的影响。在此基础上，给出了供热管道泄漏故障诊断系统的总体框架。使用全球定位系统定时模式，加热变电站之间以高精度同步数据采集系统的设计，加热变电站的数据采集系统的硬件和软件设计，并给出进一步的时钟同步产生的故障诊断中心不同的加热变电站的数据采集设备的实现。实验结果表明，购置设备的时间同步误差几毫秒，符合负压波泄漏故障诊断方法的时间同步要求。
